New Orleans is a city that prides itself on the diversity of its citizens, neighborhoods, and cultural traditions as well as an exuberant sense of community. These are characteristics shared by the Graduate School at the University of New Orleans.
UNO awards graduate degrees in programs as varied as Business Administration, Chemistry, Conservation Biology, Counselor Education, Creative Writing, Educational Administration, Engineering and Applied Science, Environmental Engineering, Film Production, Financial Economics, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Political Science, Public Administration, Psychology, and Urban and Regional Planning. These are just a few of the 37 master’s degree and 11 doctoral degree programs offered at UNO.
The
Graduate School provides leadership and direction for graduate education that
reflects the Universitys urban mission. It ensures quality of graduate programs
and promotes excellence within the context of pure and applied research and creative
scholarship. In collaboration with the Office of Research
and Sponsored Programs, the Graduate School seeks to increase grant activity and the recruitment of
highly qualified doctoral and master level students.

Applicants for the Fall 2008 semester who have not already filed an application must walk through the process in the Office of Admissions (Room 103 Administration Building). Applicants should bring in official copies of transcripts.
